Treatment
Ear pinning, or otoplasty, sets back prominent ears or reshapes the ear into a more balanced, natural position. It is a well-established procedure that can make a real difference to confidence.
About the procedure
Prominent or asymmetric ears can be a source of self-consciousness from childhood onward. Otoplasty reshapes or repositions the cartilage through an incision hidden behind the ear, setting the ears closer to the head.
It is usually a day-case procedure. [Confirm Ms Bowers' technique, anaesthetic, setting and whether children are treated.]
